As part of its efforts to strengthen its presence and expand its geographical expansion in the MENA region, Tabuk Pharmaceuticals inaugurated a new manufacturing site in the second industrial city of Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be foreseen as a state of art manufacturing site equipped with best in class machineries with the latest technology supplied by reputable International companies. Dammam site covers an area of 14,000 square meters and a construction area of 17,000 square meters. The highest standards of quality and automation have been adopted at various stages of manufacturing to be classified as one of the most advanced factories in the region. A specialized section in Dammam site has been allocated for injectables. This enabled Tabuk to further penetrate the Saudi and regional markets with new medications including contrast media used in medical imaging in addition to general anesthetics. Dammam Factory is the first manufacturing site in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to manufacture lyophilized vials. The factory also manufactures other pharmaceutical preparations such as creams, ointments, nasal sprays and other liquid dosage forms. This site is managed by a team of more than 200 employees. Annual production capacity is around 50 Million (Base Unit Measurement) including liquid vials, lyophilized vials, and ampoules.
